Since 1955, the International Society on General Relativity and Gravitation has organized the tri-annual GR conferences, offering a global platform to showcase the latest advances in all areas of relativity and gravitation. These meetings have become the premier international gathering for researchers in the field.
The 24th International Conference on General Relativity and Gravitation (GR24), held jointly with the 16th Edoardo Amaldi Conference on Gravitational Waves, took place from 14–18 July 2025 in Glasgow, Scotland. The scientific program reflected the breadth and depth of the field, with high-profile plenary speakers and a diverse range of well-organized parallel sessions.
CENTRA had a strong and visible presence throughout the conference, contributing many impactful talks across multiple sessions. Notably, David Hilditch and Richard Brito served on the GR24 Scientific Organizing Committee, underscoring CENTRA's role in shaping the direction of the meeting.
