On 26 September, CENTRA participated in the European Researchers' Night 2025 with a program of activities hosted at the Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência. The European Researchers’ Night is a yearly event that brings science closer to society through exhibitions, experiments, and interactive activities, taking place simultaneously in multiple cities and countries across Europe.
CENTRA’s activities were organized in collaboration with the Centre for Mathematical Analysis, Geometry, and Dynamical Systems (CAMGSD) and supported by physics students from NFIST. This year’s theme, “Space, Time, Gravity, and Gravitational Waves: Celebrating 10 Years of the GW Discovery”, invited visitors to explore fundamental questions about the universe—from how gravity works to everyday mysteries such as why we experience day and night and what causes solar eclipses.
